The fall of the Roman Empire was mainly caused by barbarian attacks led by a Germanic leader, Odoacer. The Romans also became very careless and stopped leading correctly. They began to throw endless amounts of parties and eventually started dealing with financial crisis. Constant wars continued to play out and people avoided to pay for taxations. Slavery was dependent for Rome which started to crumble when expansion played out and there were no more slaves to be put to work. Continuation throughout rome began to fall apart as the romans continued to not care and pay attention on materialistic stuff
